Our Vision
Invest Beijing International (IBI) is a municipal government-backed investment and business consultation service platform that promotes the many advantages of Beijing as a base to locate a business, and assists overseas enterprises establish and develop their presence in the capital city.
IBI provides tailored and comprehensive investment promotion, facilitation and aftercare services to ensure that companies have all the professional support required to establish or expand business presence in the dynamic Beijing economy.
The scope of our activities ranges from site selection, city marketing, business consultation, market research and partner searches to accessing grants, administrative processing and resolving difficulties with government and mediating in labor disputes.
Our Team
IBI team is composed of employees who have extensive expertise and experience in supporting inbound foreign direct investment (FDI), and experts in fields such as accounting, law (including tax and labor law), as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A). IBI personnel have become progressively more specialized to meet the increasingly more particular needs of our clients. Accordingly, our staff will be bolstered by specialists from specific industrial sectors to provide faster and accurate investment-related services to foreign investors as determined by need.

1. Investment Planning
- Provision of Market Information: For the purpose of determining the feasibility of a proposed investment, IBI undertakes research and provides information on Chinese markets and industries.
- Partner and Investment Opportunities Search: IBI assists investors locate potential partners and high-potential investment opportunities in the areas of Greenfield, M&A, venture and real estate.
- Policy and Rule Consultation: To enable foreign investors to gain a better understanding of the national and municipal policies and rules on foreign investment, IBI provides consultation services on investment procedures, tax incentives, economic development zones, labor and industrial complexes for the exclusive use of foreign investors, etc.
2. Ongoing Project Support
- Matchmaking with Potential Partners: Through our extensive database, we will match-make and arrange meetings between foreign investors and potential joint venture and M&A partners.
- Administrative Support: All procedures pertaining to the investment process from investment registration to factory establishment can be initiated through IBI.
- Plant Site Location: IBI helps investors find the optimal location in China for projected foreign-invested facilities, plus provide support on all procedures necessary for their establishment.
- Cooperation with Investment-Related Bodies: IBI liaises between foreign investors and relevant governments, institutions and local companies, and arranges meetings between them as necessary.
3. Follow-up Service
- Investment Home Doctor Service: Designed to help foreign investors resolve the difficulties experienced in doing business in Beijing, IBI designates a specialist to provide one-on-one service.
- VISA Extensions: Extensions of the sojourn periods of foreign corporate personnel can be handled through IBI.

The Project Manager - the key figure in the delivery of our one-stop service
Following an initial contact between a foreign investor and IBI oncerning a proposed investment in Beijing, a staff member will be designated as a project manager to handle further inquiries and lend assistance on all matters and procedures relating to the eventual establishment of the project.
The project manager will undertake a range of services on behalf of foreign investors including airport reception, local schedule management and M&A/joint venture partner searches.
