Accompanied by officials of Finnish Embassy to China, Mr. Risto Paaermaa, Deputy Director General of Industries Department，Ministry of Trade and Industry of Finland, visited Invest Beijing International (IBI) 24th May, 2007.

Mr. Tu Xingjian, IBI Chairman met the delegation and made a presentation on the roles and functions of IBI on such areas of city image upgrading, inward and outward investment promotion, and exchanges between Chinese and foreign enterprises.

Mr. Paaermaa appreciated Mr. Tu for his time, and expressed his aspiration that IBI could play a much bigger role in promoting bilateral investment between Finland and China, as well as in enhancing mutual exchanges and cooperation between SMEs.

Attending the meeting also included relevant people from Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Beijing Energy Investment Group, and China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
