8月9日，英国谢菲尔德国际场馆管理集团（SIV）访问市发改委，市发改委副主任刘志接见该公司执行总监Steven Brailey一行三人。市体育局及朝阳区领导，投资北京董事长屠行健陪同，市发改委社会处、产业处和奥运办有关工作人员参加。

刘志副主任首先对英国SIV集团的来访表示热烈欢迎，同时表示希望与该公司在奥运场馆运营方面的合作开展建设性的探讨和研究。SIV集团执行总裁Steven先生首先介绍了该公司的性质和主要业务，以及谢菲尔德市的体育产业发展状况。随后，市体育局和奥运办的有关领导对北京市发展体育产业的思路和现状，以及奥运场馆情况作了简要介绍。

通过介绍情况，双方一致认为在奥运场馆的赛后运营方面可以开展实质性的合作。 刘志副主任建议SIV集团应该关注所有权归属北京市各区县的奥运场馆，因为这些场馆的规模和性质都更适合SIV所擅长的运作模式。最后，刘志副主任还特别建议SIV集团可以与投资北京具体接洽场馆运营的合作，其他相关部门通力配合。

SIV Visits Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform

On Aug. 9, Sheffield International Venues visits Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform. Mr. Liu zhi, Deputy Director-General of BMCDR held a meeting with SIV delegates, while leaders of Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau and Chaoyang Districts, and Mr. Tu Xingjian, Chairman of Invest Beijing International attended the meeting.

Mr. Liu Zhi warmly welcomed SIV delegates, and expressed his hopes to discuss the cooperation in post-Olympiad venues operation with the delegates. Mr. Steven Brailey first made a briefing on SIV’s businesses in sports and leisure events, as well as the history and development of sports industry of Sheffield city since 1980s. Afterwards, the leaders of Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau and Olympic Office of BMCDR introduced the development orientation of sports industry of Beijing and current situation of Olympic Venues.

After mutual briefing, both sides agreed that there would be great potentiality in actual cooperation in post-Olympiad venues in Beijing. Moreover, Mr. Liu Zhi specially suggested that SIV should pay more attention on those venues owned by various districts and counties of Beijing Municipality for their appropriate sizes and characters. Finally, Mr. Liu Zhi offered his advice to the delegates that they could contact with Invest Beijing for discussion and negotiation with the owners of those venues which they might have interests.
